  1. Thank you for putting this together! I found your resources on the old site invaluable, and I’m so glad you’re keeping them up.

Right now, the website is not mobile-friendly. If that’s something you would like help with, I am a software engineer and could help.

  2. Hola! I am just beginning my journey to learning Spanish. I was excited about this website. I appreciate the time and effort that you have put into making this possible. Thank you for continuing to create and share these resources. This will become apart of my family night activities. I look forward to seeing the growth of this website and wishing you continued success.

Feedback: I am having some difficulty viewing the videos in the theater, but I am able to hear the audio. I think that the website is easy to navigate and I can easily locate the materials for each episode.

  4. Thomas, this is amazing.  I haven’t even begun to explore everything.  It’s so well organized.  I love having the videos and documents all in one place.  I also like the vocabulary and the rest of the tools of course.  Looking forward to sharing it in my classes.

    1. As one of Mark’s students, I can attest to the gratitude we all feel for what Tom has created here. Beautifully done, thank you for preserving this treasure.

  5. Thomas, this is a wonderful resource! Thank you so much. I started with Destinos about 6 months ago but was trying to get the workbook and the textbook from different sites and watching on the Annenburg site. It got to fiddly. I am excited about restarting this journey and having the ease of everything in one place. Thank you again!

  6. Hello Tom,
Thanks so much for putting this together! I’m excited to start watching Destinos. However, right now I only have my Android phone and can’t get the theater to display visually.
    Any updates or suggestions?
    Thank you so much,
    Cynthia

  7. What a wonderful collection, thank you for all the hard work Tom. I’ve just spotted that for Episode 12, the link to the workbook file seems to be broken (it links to dropbox which says the file has been deleted). Hope it’s an easy fix for you, thank you!

  8. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!!!!!
    This site is beautiful!!
    So user friendly.
    I am tears.
The best set up for Destinos EVER.

  9. Hi, I’ve just started to learn Spanish and these resources are really beneficial so far. Thank you for putting these back together and making them accessible again. It really means a lot to a beginner like me. ¡Muchas gracias por todo!

  10. I have been looking for this series everywhere! It seems the original producers continued support of the program right before I discovered it. I am very excited to know there is still support in other places across the web, because I found it to be engaging and excellently produced. I don’t think there will ever be a series as engaging or well produced as this one. I was never able to find the accompanying materials in an organized fashion, so I hope at this website I have hit the jackpot at this website. If so, I will be pointing many other people to this website, including parents who are from spanish-speaking countries, speak spanish, but whose children do not speak nor understand the language very well.

  11. I am so grateful that you are preserving Destinos for the world. It’s been great for my listening comprehension. And since you’ve published the support material, now I can take the full course! Hurray!!

    Thank you!!!!

    1. Thank you, Kristen. That is very kind. I have added Nuevos Destinos as well. It is a follow-on series and a new mystery. And when you get ready to learn French, I am almost finished frenchinaction.org …. chuckle.

      Tom

  12. I’m so excited to embark on a Spanish journey! I just finished getting to a comfortable level with another (fun but less usable in my life) language and I want to dive into another that I can use more where I live.

  13. I’m so happy you’re doing this. I looooved Destinos when I was in school, and I love it now that I’m studying Spanish again. It’s really nice to be able to use it with my kids while they are learning Spanish

  14. So grateful to have found this site! I am an older Spanish learner at the low intermediate level, and I have been looking for engaging Spanish stories to increase input. A friend of mine grew up with and still watches telenovelas, so I am excited to have found this format. Thank you for providing this!

  15. Annenberg Learning was shut down on July 1, 2026 after 45 years online and Destinos was removed from their website. I had just started watching Destinos on June 28 and then July came and I was met with a horrible surprise. Thankfully you have done the great service of hosting Destinos for those of us who lost access. Thank you so much.

Clarification about the audio files ....

There is only one set of audio files for both the textbook and workbook/study guides. Each audio file is used for both. The textbook contains the “script” and reading that goes with the audio file. The Workbook (Manual de actividades) contains the actual blanks to be filled in while listening to the audio file.

The audio is specifically designed to “talk” you through both the textbook and workbook activities. For example, a narrator will say, “Lección uno. Comprensión. Ejercicio A…” and then provide the audio content used to respond to the workbook questions & activities.

Recent Updates & fixes

3 May 2026:

The Q&A content needed attention. Originally (a long time ago) I included two different sets of questions from various sources. But the questions were redundant, some answers were wrong, and the number of questions was overwhelming. With a little AI help I went through every episode and combined the Q&A sets, grouped the questions, and checked the answers. It took three long, tedious days to complete. I hope you like the results.

13 Apr 2026:

  1. Received feedback that a user did not know how to access the videos. I moved the “ticket” image from the right sidebar to the center on each page.
  2. Added a pop-up to explain that there is only one set of audio files for both the textbook and workbook/study guides. When the headphones icon appears in either the textbook or workbook, it refers to the single audio file for that episode.

Please send suggestions and ideas. I will continue to update the site based on feedback.
